Small-Group Casting Clinics
Casting is the part people quit over. It shouldn’t be.
These clinics cap at [X] people, which means you get real feedback on your own stroke instead of watching a demo from the back of a crowd. We start on grass or an open bank where nothing is at stake, then move to the water once the motion is holding together.
What we cover
- Grip, stance, and where the power actually comes from
- The basic overhead cast, broken into pieces you can feel
- Loop control – why yours is collapsing and how to fix it
- Line management, false casting, and shooting line
- Roll casting and casting out of tight spots
- The knots you’ll need, tied slowly until they stick
- Presentation: putting the fly where you meant to
